Machine Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role requires attention to detail, basic technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate assigned machines according to standard operating procedures.
* Set up machines before production runs, including loading materials and tools.
* Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent product quality.
* Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting.
* Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance.
* Identify and report mechanical issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
* Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
* Follow workplace safety rules and wear required protective equipment.
* Ensure cleanliness of machines and work areas.
* Assist in preventive maintenance activities when required.

Skills & Competencies

* Basic knowledge of industrial machines and tools.
* Ability to read job instructions and technical manuals.
* Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
* Problem-solving and basic troubleshooting skills.
* Physically fit to stand for long hours and handle materials.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

* Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass.
* ITI or technical certification preferred (Machine Operator / Fitter / Turner, etc.).

Work Schedule

* Day and night shifts (rotational).
* Overtime as per production requirements.
