Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, service, and repair vehicles and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently while ensuring safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect vehicles and mechanical systems to identify faults and issues.
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems using diagnostic tools.
* Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignment, and engine tuning.
* Repair or replace worn-out or defective parts.
* Test vehicles after repairs to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain accurate service and repair records.
* Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.
* Communicate clearly with supervisors or customers regarding repair needs and timelines.
* Keep tools, equipment, and workspace clean and well-maintained.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Technology preferred.
* Proven experience as a mechanic or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, engines, and mechanical components.
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
* Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Basic understanding of electrical systems (preferred).
* Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cars, bikes, trucks, or heavy vehicles.
* Knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostics and computerized systems.
* Valid driving license (2-wheeler / 4-wheeler).
