Activa Rider Killed in Bus Collision; Cousin Injured.

On Sunday evening, a speeding Haryana Roadways bus hit two young women riding an Activa at the Narayangarh Road Shahzadpur T-point. In the accident, the driver, Sameeksha (18), a resident of Nagla Rajputana village, died after her head was crushed, while her cousin, Anu, a resident of Balti village, was injured. Passersby rushed the bleeding victim to the Cantonment Civil Hospital for treatment, where a doctor declared her dead. Meanwhile, Akshay and Rohit, the passersby who brought Sameeksha to the hospital, expressed anger over the lack of timely first aid. They claimed the doctor didn’t touch her for 20 minutes, and the doctors concluded that she was already dead. Shahzadpur police seized the bus and began an investigation. Wiping their tears, the deceased’s father, Naresh, said he had been telling his daughter, Sameeksha, to take the bus instead of the Activa, but she refused to listen.

Naresh, the father of the deceased , Anu, who is undergoing treatment at Shahjadpur CHC, said that he has four daughters and a son. Sameeksha was doing an electrical course at Bharampur ITI. She was an apprentice at a shop in Shahjadpur and her brother-in-law’s daughter Anu was also an apprentice at a computer shop. As usual, both were returning from the shop on their Activa at 7 pm when suddenly a Haryana Roadways bus running on the Narayangarh route hit them. The injured Anu is undergoing treatment at Shahjadpur CHC.
