Crypto Scam Mastermind Arrested in ₹6.90 Crore Fraud Case.

Police have arrested the accused for defrauding Prem Nagar resident goldsmith Narendra Kumar and his associates of Rs 6.90 crore by promising them six-fold profits through crypto currency. The accused, Mahesh, a resident of Azad Nagar, Hisar, was produced in court on Sunday and taken on three-day remand. Cyber ​​​​Police Station in-charge Sandeep Kumar stated that the investigation revealed that the accused Mahesh Kumar is a habitual and cunning fraudster. Similar cases of fraud and cyber fraud have been registered against him in Gurugram and Bhiwani districts. They 
borrowed money from friends and even sold household gold.

Narendra, a resident of Prem Nagar in the city, had told that he works in property dealing and goldsmith. About 3 years ago, he met Mahesh Kumar, a resident of Jataai village in Bhiwani. Mahesh along with his three other friends, Dheeraj, a resident of Dinaud in Bhiwani, Mohan Sharma, a resident of Devarkhana in Jhajjar, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Jeetpura village in Charkhi Dadri, met them in the parking lot of Jaggi City Centre in Ambala. The accused deceived them by saying that they would multiply the invested amount by 6 times in a year and would also give 2 percent monthly interest. The accused had deceived them by taking the name of the Chief Justice of the country. On the complaint of Narendra, the Baldev Nagar police station had registered an FIR against Mahesh, Dheeraj, Mohan Sharma and Pradeep.
